Endodontics (Channel Treatment Etc.)

Endodontics is the branch of dentistry concerning dental pulp and tissues surrounding the roots of a tooth. Endodontic treatment, or root canal treatment, treats the soft pulp tissue inside the tooth. Root canal treatment is done when decay will likely damage or has already killed a tooth. During a root canal, a dentist removes the pulp from the center of a tooth and fills the pulp cavity. This can prevent the development of a painful infection in the pulp that may spread to other teeth. A root canal can also treat an infection that has developed into an abscessed tooth. This procedure can relieve toothache, stop infection, and promote healing.

We use the following instruments to enhance the quality of root canal treatments in our clinics

Apex locator: An instrument to find the tip of the root for the best canal obturation

RVG:The computerized imaging system to view the teeth

Endodontic rotary system : The time saving instruments to shape the canals 3D.

Laser: Laser is used to decontaminate inside the root canals for best sterilization.
